Andy Michels

Andy has been involved in snowmobiling his entire life, from age 3 holding on to the kitty cat and riding on the front of his dad’s machine, Andy has logged over a seventy thousand miles on machines. Andy has been involved in racing since 2014, competing in the COR Powersports series as a professional rider in Hillclimb and Cross Country racing. When not snowmobiling, Andy runs and operates Michels Homes, a custom home building and remodeling firm with four generations of building history that has been dedicated to the building industry for over 40 years, located in St. Paul, MN. Andy’s wife Amber and 3 daughters will make appearances at the races too! Andy is anxious to continue building this racing circuit as a HUGE success for venues, spectators and racers alike for years and years to come.

Jake Kurtz

Jake Kurtz

Jake has been involved in some sort of racing as long as he could walk. From being at the drag strip with my dad every weekend growing up to finally getting on a snowmobile, dirt bike and into a race car depending on the season if it had a motor, he has to see which is fastest. That competitive drive has stuck with Jake til today as part owner of a snowmobile racing circuit. Racing snowmobiles has always my favorite pastime with racing ice drags to Hillclimbs at Spirt Mountain in early 2000’s to MESC most recently over the past 5-6 years which led to the success of winning the season points and getting a qualifier to go to Jackson Hole World Championship the last 4 years. The opportunity to own and operate the MESC race circuit while growing the sport and make it a fun, family event for racers and spectators. We are optimistic that we can continue to grow this into something great giving our background and passion for the sport.
